Well sorry for the lack of updates people. Ive been doing everything on the chatboards.
Ok here is an update.

Saturday 20th July: Circa 10pm we plan to go as a group to see Starwars Episode 2. We hope a large number of people intend to go. This will not happen if at least 10 people are not intrested.

All 3 Days: Each day of the Con i plan to run a raffle. This will be ONLY for members of the convention and NOT for just people at NG to play Magic or something else.
Raffle tickets will be 1$ Per Ticket 3$ for 4 and 5$ for 7$. The prize will be an Book, Minature, or other product of the winners choice. This will be a bit variable depending on how many people get raffles.
IF the winner chooses a book, then They will receive a book of their choice (from the shelves of NG) that is worth no more then 30$ before Taxes.
If they choose minatures they may receive 25-30$ worth of minatures or paints sold at NG.
They may also choose to buy Computer Time at NG (for LAN games) for a 40$ Value.
They may choose 30$ worth of dice. Or a combination therin.
Note: I'll allow the winner to combine any of these prizes except the books. If they get a book worth 25$ then they cannot choose to get dice to make up the diffrence. However they can mix and match dice and paints and computer time to add up to 30$

If there is enough money i'll pull a second and third place winner. Second Place Value will be 25$ to 30$ (depending on how much $$ is left) and third Place will be 10$ or 15$

If its ok with all convention members I may allow those not from the convention to buy tickets at 2$ a ticket with no special discount for buying more as previously noted.


I will post the conventions poster below again to help everyone. We have 2 weeks before the Con. (wow its getting close).

Books you want to bring:
As before i mentioned do not depend on others. However if you absoutly MUST Then I ask that anyone who intends to bring books with them PLEASE compile a list and post it on the forum.
I ask everyone to rembmer. Please treat other peoples property with respect. If you accidentally damage someones books you may be responsible and will be required to pay them back for a new one. So please please be careful. And dont forget to write your name in any books you want to bring!

Dice: PLEASE! Do not bring a plethora of dice! It is VERY easy to lose dice or drop them, and haave them get mixed up with everyone elses. If you bring a lot of dice only have one or two sets out of your bookbags at a time. It may make sense to put a drop of removeable nail polish on your dice of a specifc color before the con, so if they get mixed up you know which is yours.

Alright, inferno in another thread brought up an intresting point.

What resource books do we need?

Here is my answer.
If there is something you hope to use, BRING IT.
Dont expect someone else to have it.
However. Make sure your name is clearly marked on the inside cover or someplace else. Something that cannot be easily removed or changed.

I dont want everyone getting their books mixed up so a stupid argument begins. Plus I dont want anyone getting stuff mixed up with what the store owns and sometimes lets out unto the floor.


JUST TO BE SAFE I want everyone to make a list of what books they bring on a 8x10 index card and when they arrive to double check the card with that list. Then i'll hold all the index cards and we will double check them before we leave everyday. This way if someone misplaces something we can try and sort it out.

Also note. This is a public place and there will be other people there, not just those for the convention. So keep an eye on your things from THOSE people......

Anyone that plans to go to the con PLEASE join the chat forum.
It keeps its own registered list of users so i know exactly who plans to attend

OK Guys I had a great idea.

Sunday the 21st. Last day of the convention, we all get up and go to Medieval Times in NJ! What a better way to end a RP convention then watching people kill eachother with 11th century weapons while eating chicken and soup and having cute waitresses dressed as Wenches walk by you!

Lets start posting on the board who wants to do this. I will figure out reservations next week (I have to buzy a schedule this week). And travel also. I am quite sure there are shuttles or busses from NYC.

The show we MUST go for is 4:30 which means its one less day for RPing. Tickets for adults are roughly 44$ and I am sure we can get a group discount!. Woo this is gonna rock!

Looking: Someone to run WOD at the convention.

Looking: If anyone has the TV adaptor for game cube or PS2 feel free to bring your systems so we can all play. (its understandable if your afraid of it getting stolen however)

Note: Everyone should at least bring their Players handbook, or main book for WOD or what not. That way we dont have to pass around eachothers books.

If you personally want to use something from another book, then bring that book as well.
